Volunteers WANTED!

Okay - maybe you missed the deadline to apply for a booth...or your drummer screwed up and didn't let us know ya'll wanted to play the gig...or hell, you just don't make stuff to sell...but, you are cool and want to support the local art, music and fashion scene.
Well, don't feel left out, you can still be a part of The 2nd Annual DIY Factory!

We are currently looking for general help volunteers for the day of the event.

Volunteers will work in shifts anytime between 11am and 1am.

If you are interested, send an email to info@thediyfactory.org with "volunteer" in the subject line. Let us know what hours you can help, and provide us with your name and phone number.

For those of you that don't have the time or motivation to volunteer the day of the event you can still be a part of the DIY movement....by telling all your friends about The DIY Factory!

Flyers for the DIY Factory arrived yesterday! Here is a modified version of it. I-f you can get your hands on one of the original postcards (of which there are 5000!) you get a $1 off at the door!!

The DIY Factory Extends the vendor deadline to the 24th….

The 2nd annual DIY Factory will showcase 50+ alternative arts and crafts vendors epitomizing the Do-It-Yourself ethic. You won’t see your grandma’s country crafts, painted bluebonnets or jams and jellies at our fair. You will, however, see unique fashions and accessories, art dolls, handmade house wares, jewelry, found object art, paintings, silk screened tees and totes, knitted goods, and many other one-of-a-kind hand crafted oddities.

The first 100 guests will receive a free handmade goody bag stuffed with some great loot from our vendors and sponsors!

When: Saturday – November 15, 2008 (3pm to 1am)

Where: La Plaza del Rey Ballroom2716 Fredericksburg Rd.San Antonio, TX 78201

Admission: $5 (children 12 and under free with adult)
